Helsby Bowling Club
Welcome to our Bowling section!
We have two artificial, floodlit greens available to use all year round!
Our greens have disabled access, with blue badge parking and toilets.
Fifteen teams play in the Mid Cheshire league, Frodsham and District league, Runcorn and District league and Norley Afternoon league.
The club also hosts annual Open/Club competitions.
Every Saturday, the club runs new starter coaching sessions, for people looking to develop their skills and try something new! Afterwards, social bowling takes place, available for players to practice and exercise at their own pace. All abilities and visiting parties are welcome.

Become a Helsby Bowling Club member
Bowls memberships run from 1st April- 31st March of the following year.
Memberships do not automatically renew and all memberships expire on 31st March
Membership to Helsby Bowling Club includes unlimited, free use of our fantastic artificial bowling greens and the opportunity to enter club competitions and leagues.
Membership includes membership of Helsby Community Sports Club. Including 20% discount at the bar and discount when hiring our other facilities.
Fees 2025/26 are as follows:
Bowls Membership (Adult) - £55
Bowls Membership (Concession 65+) - £50

Helsby Bowling Club will be celebrating their Summer League Presentation Evening, on Friday 9th October, from 7pm.
Northern Soul DJ 'The Runcorn Soul Crew' will be joining us to provide the tunes for the evening!
There will be food available for all.

A Cup Win 27.08.26
Helsby Bowling Clubs 'D' Team took part in the Fred Rodgers Cup final at Castle Park against Kingswood B team.
Helsby took the win in the closely fought final.
Well done to all our bowlers who took park - and a huge congratulations on your win!
