Helsby Rugby Union Football Club
Helsby RUFC boasts one of the finest training facilities in the country, with a state-of-the-art 3G pitch complete with shockpad.
The 1st XV Senior team currently play in the NOWIRUL Howell & Co Division 3 West League, which following the restructuring of the Lancashire and South Cheshire RFU Leagues, now has a familiar feel to it.
Off the pitch, the club offers a full social calendar of events, ranging from the club’s participation in the RFU Rugby Force weekend each June, regular Social nights, end-of-season Tours each April, plus two formal lunches and dinners each year, which have seen some of the biggest names in rugby visit the club as guest speakers in recent years…Phil Bennett, Brian Moore, Willie John McBride, Gareth Chilcott and Wayne Barnes to name but a few.
Training is every Thursday between 19:30 and 21:00, on the 3G pitch. Players meet pitchside 10 minutes before each training session. Matchdays are usually every Saturday, at home on the grass pitch, or away.

Junior Membership - £100.00 (1 parent club membership and 1 child)
Memberships expire a year after joining, and do not renew automatically.

Whether you are new to rugby or an experienced player, everybody is welcome to come along and give it a go. We are always happy to see new faces at training and on game day!
Training is every Thursday at 7:15pm on the 3G pitch.
